My sister-in-law (who is lucky enough to have a house in the Phoenix valley) says that she lives in Heaven nine months of the year and in H-E-double hockey sticks the other three.
But I think it's great year-round! We visit Arizona every summer because that's the best time to be there. I love that dry breeze outside when the thermometers are ready to burst. Besides, after you reach 105 degrees, it all feels the same. The HEAT makes you want to spend the entire day in the warm water outdoor pool. And when you get out of the pool, you don't feel cold because it's 115 degrees; which also means that you'll air dry in less than 30 seconds.
This past weekend, our all-time high was only 106, which is a bit nippy for my cold blood, but we had fun in the pool nonetheless.
Nicole soloed the length of the pool, with the assistance of a life vest.
Grant jumped in by himself and got dunked in ring-around-the-roses.
If only Arizona summers could last forever ...
