A Homeschool-Style Lunch
A lot of moms pack a lunch for their kiddos. And some moms add a special little note to let the children know they are loved.
But how many *mamas* get a special kid-made lunch and note mid-week?
The kids and I went on a bike ride, except I was pushing Max in the stroller and Shari Brooke was "helping" me. Nicole rushed ahead of us, and treated me to this when I walked in the door.
It looks like breakfast because I skipped breakfast that day, and Nicole noticed. It's one of our new favorite breakfasts with toast and an over-easy egg in the center. The meal also included a delicious grapefruit already sectioned and sugared, among other things. And did you see the cloth napkin? No paper towel napkin here, no sir! To top it off, all of the dishes (used in preparing) had been washed and put away.
The note read, "Thanks for being our mom." I did feel so loved!
No clothes, no supervision, no problem!
This little guy sneaks outside as much as possible. He dresses himself in whatever boots he can find.
Or not.
Big Boy Bed
I put Max to bed in his crib, even though he climbs out almost every time (through or over - he's not picky).
Apparently Max got fed up with that arrangement, so he commandeered Shari Brooke's bed instead.
It appears that Max is ready for a bed upgrade!
