Enjoying the breeze while riding his bike in the garage. We had a high of fifteen degrees this week, so who needs clothes in this tropical weather?

Friday Night Chess

I love to watch Grant play live chess games at our favorite used bookstore. We've only gone twice, but that's because it's hard with the babies. They have to sit still and be quiet while the games are being played, and those two activites happen to be the least favorite things for Max and Shari Brooke to do. 

The most fun is to see how much the adult players underestimate Grant's ability. He had just checkmated the lady on the right (who was now enjoying watching the game).
