Family Gardening

Green thumbs are inherited.

I remember planting my own garden one year when I was about eight years old. I grew carrots and lettuce from seed. The soil I used could be classified as dirt; no topsoil, no compost, nothing special. But everything grew and I had so much fun that year as I weeded and measured the growth of the leaves. As always, the best part was the harvest. Those were the best carrots I ever ate!

I think Nicole has a knack for gardening, too. So far, I think she likes everything about it: selecting the plants at Home Depot, fetching the topsoil with a wheelbarrow, raking the soil level, digging holes, wearing gloves, getting dirty ... Oh, just watch the video!
